Botski went quiet from September 24 to 30, so this note catches you up on the week in one place. Every item links to where we read it. Botski is independent. It is not xAI, SpaceXAI, X, or Cursor.
Bots can hand coding work to Cursor (Sep 30)
On September 30, the official @bot account posted that Grok Bot is “now more powerful for building software.” According to that post, Bots can:
- hand off coding tasks to Cursor
- manage your pull requests with the GitHub and Origin plugins
- share video demos of what they build
When we checked on the evening of September 30, we had not found a separate docs page for this update. Treat the post as the source for now. If you already use a Bot to coordinate work, the practical change is that it can pass the actual code change to Cursor and keep track of the PR, instead of doing everything on its own computer.
Team Bots: one Bot your whole team can use (Sep 28)
SpaceXAI launched Team Bots on September 28, along with an @bot post. A Team Bot is built around a role or workflow your team shares. The launch post says each one combines context (files, instructions, skills), plugins, credentials for APIs that have no plugin, and memories.
What matters if you are new:
- Your chat stays yours. The Team Bots docs say each teammate gets their own chat. The owner can't read teammates' chats, and teammates can't read the owner's.
- It acts as the person asking. A plugin that needs a sign-in uses the account of whoever is talking to the Bot, so a Team Bot never lends one person's access to someone else (docs).
- Slack is built in. A published Team Bot can have its own Slack app, and teammates can DM it or @mention it (docs).
- Who can use it: TeslaNorth reports that Team Bots are in public beta for Teams and Enterprise plans. The docs say Team Bots are available to members of a team.
Template rewards pilot opens by invitation (Sep 25)
X published the Grok Bot Template Rewards Pilot Program Terms, effective September 25, 2026. Here is what the terms say, in plain words:
- It is a limited pilot that starts September 25, is expected to run about two months, and is invitation only.
- To join you must be at least 18, located in the United States in a state where X Money is supported, subscribed to an eligible X Premium tier, and have an active X Money account.
- Payments are discretionary and not guaranteed. X intends to decide rewards every two weeks to start.
- Your own use of your templates, use by accounts linked to you, and use on free trials do not count.
- Posts that promote an eligible template must use X's paid partnership label.
@SawyerMerritt summarized the program on launch day and said he had earned $500 from his Home Robots template. That is his report, not a typical result. The terms say rewards are variable.
Tips for sharing a Bot people actually try (Sep 26)
@shubgaur posted a short guide for when you share a Bot link and nobody gets it: show what the Bot did instead of only sending a link, build an onboarding so new users get value faster, aim for repeat value on end-to-end tasks, and keep updating your template as the product changes. A follow-up post shows where sharing lives: click or tap your Bot's name and hit the share icon, or long-press the Bot on your phone.
dot.com now points at Grok Bot (Sep 29)
On September 29, @blankspeaker told people to go to a short link, which opens dot.com. When we checked on September 30, dot.com showed the Grok Bot page, titled “AI teammates that finish the work,” with download buttons and plan cards, under a © 2026 SpaceXAI LLC footer. Product docs still live at docs.x.ai/grok-bot.
Next door: dots and Muse
Botski covers Grok Bot first, but you should know what else launched this week:
- OpenAI dots (Sep 29). OpenAI introduced dots, always-on agents powered by GPT-6 Astra, each with its own cloud computer. They are rolling out to ChatGPT Pro and Business Premium in eligible markets, and Enterprise can try a beta. We wrote a separate note on how dots compare with Grok Bot: ChatGPT dots are here.
- Meta Muse for Small Business (Sep 29). Meta expanded Muse with business connectors, including Shopify, Stripe, Slack, Notion, Canva, and Intuit QuickBooks. Meta says nothing publishes, sends, or spends without your approval.
- Spotify in Muse (Sep 24). Music Ally reported that Spotify is the first music service to connect to Muse.
Independent, not xAI
Botski is an independent site for people learning Grok Bot. It is not official xAI or SpaceXAI documentation, and it is not endorsed by X, xAI, SpaceXAI, or Cursor. Official docs: docs.x.ai/grok-bot.
