1. About Botski
Botski is operated by Rich Silver, doing business as Botski ("Botski," "we," "us"). These Terms govern bot.ski and the website features, guides, records, templates, and services we provide through it.
Botski is an independent project created by Rich Silver. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by xAI/SpaceXAI, X, Cursor, or their Grok Bot product. Those services have their own terms, accounts, privacy practices, and charges.
Contact us at hello@bot.ski. Our mailing address is available on request at hello@bot.ski.
2. Agreeing to these Terms
When you create a Botski account or use a feature that asks you to accept these Terms, you agree to them. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use those features.
You must be at least 18 to create an account, submit contributions, subscribe to email updates, or use other interactive services. Public guides can be read without an account. Botski is not directed to children under 13.
Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data handling. Our Community Guidelines apply to submissions and community activity. Marketing email is optional and is not a condition of accepting these Terms.
3. Accounts and security
Use the supported sign-in process and keep control of the account you use to sign in. Provide information you are entitled to use and tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your Botski account without permission. Do not share access or claim a bot or record that belongs to someone else.
Botski does not ask for your X password. A Botski account does not create a Grok Bot subscription, authorize access to your private messages, or give us permission to post to X for you.
We may apply reasonable verification, rate limits, and security controls. You are responsible for actions you authorize and for complying with the terms of tools you connect or use.
4. Bots, templates, and independent records
Guides and templates help you plan and configure work. They do not guarantee that a bot will be accurate, secure, available, or suitable for every purpose. Review instructions, permissions, sources, and results before relying on them. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Obtain qualified advice when a decision requires professional expertise.
A certificate, maker's mark, birth record, or lineage link documents information about a creation. It is not government registration, proof of exclusive intellectual-property ownership, a security certification, or endorsement by another platform. Review labels describe only the checks specifically identified with them.
Creating a bot, registering a private website record, publishing a listing, and sharing a template are separate choices. Registration does not automatically publish. Removing a Botski record or account does not remove a bot, routine, or template hosted by another service. Manage those items with that service.
Before using a third-party template, review its author, license, permissions, and setup requirements. Combining templates does not remove their creators' rights or the conditions of their licenses.
5. Your content and permissions
You retain the rights you have in content you submit. You are responsible for having permission to submit it and for respecting other people's privacy and intellectual property. Do not upload passwords, access keys, claim secrets, or information you are not authorized to disclose.
You give Botski a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, process, copy, format, and display your content as reasonably necessary to provide the features you choose. We may use service providers for that limited purpose. Private content is not licensed for public display or unrelated advertising.
If you choose to publish a listing, you authorize us to display and distribute the fields shown in the publication preview. Other people may view, link to, or make copies of public material. Unpublishing stops its public display on Botski, but we cannot recall copies already made by others or immediately remove search-engine caches.
If you submit a contribution for the public handbook, you authorize Botski to review, edit, combine, publish, and maintain it, including in article revisions and history. Once incorporated into collaborative material, that permission continues for the published contribution and necessary history even if your account closes, subject to your applicable privacy and other legal rights. Contact us about attribution or personal information that should be removed. A separate open-content license applies only if expressly identified when you contribute.
These permissions do not transfer ownership of your content to us. Except for the continuing permissions described above, they end when the content is removed from our service, allowing reasonable time for backup deletion and any lawful retention described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Botski to violate law or another person's rights; distribute malware; steal credentials; expose private information; impersonate others; send spam; bypass access restrictions; interfere with the service; or misrepresent provenance, capabilities, testing, or endorsement. Do not instruct a bot to take actions you are not authorized to take.
Automated access must respect published access rules and reasonable rate limits. Do not extract private records or overwhelm the site. Report suspected security issues privately to hello@bot.ski without accessing more data than necessary or disrupting other users.
7. Botski materials and third-party services
Botski's branding, character artwork, site design, and original materials are protected by applicable rights. You may read and link to our public guides and use materials as their stated license permits. Do not imply that we sponsor your work or use our marks in a misleading way. Third-party names, marks, and content belong to their respective owners.
Links and integrations are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party services or guarantee their availability, pricing, policies, or content. Opening a link or installing a template may create a separate relationship with its provider.
8. Fees and changes to the service
Any paid Botski offer will identify its price, deliverables, billing terms, and applicable cancellation or refund terms before you agree to buy it. You will not be charged merely for creating an account or joining an email list. Charges from Grok Bot or other providers are separate.
Features may change, pause, or end. Where practical, we will give reasonable notice of a material change affecting an active paid service or your ability to retrieve stored content. Keep your own copies of important work.
9. Moderation, suspension, and closure
We may restrict content or access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, investigate abuse, or comply with law. Where appropriate, we will explain the action and how to request review. We may act without advance notice for urgent security, legal, or safety reasons.
You may stop using Botski and request account closure. Content removal and retention follow the Privacy Policy. Contact hello@bot.ski to dispute a moderation decision or request help closing an account.
10. Disclaimers and limits
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free content, particular bot outcomes, or a particular commercial result.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other under these Terms for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential losses. Botski's total liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid Botski for the affected service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer guarantees and liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other protected claims. Nothing in these Terms takes away mandatory consumer or privacy rights.
11. Disputes and general terms
Please contact hello@bot.ski first so we can try to resolve a concern. This request does not prevent you from using a regulator, bringing a claim, or meeting a legal deadline.
Missouri law and applicable United States federal law govern these Terms, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law gives you other protections. Disputes may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction; these Terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver. We may transfer these Terms with the service as part of a legitimate business transfer, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
12. Updates
We will post revised Terms with a new effective date. We will give reasonable notice of material changes through the service or another appropriate channel and request renewed agreement where required. Changes do not retroactively authorize an unrelated use of personal data or enroll you in marketing. If you do not accept a material change requiring agreement, you may stop using the affected service and request closure.
