Example
You write: “Summarize this note in five bullets. Do not add action items that are not in the note.” That paragraph is the prompt.
Why it matters
A prompt can include the task, examples, and limits. It is not the whole contextContext is the information available to an AI model for a particular response, including instructions, conversation, and supplied material.. Earlier messages, files, and system instructions may also be in front of the model.
Common confusion
