Muse Secure VM

Also called Secure VM.

The Muse Secure VM is Muse's dedicated cloud computer, with its own file system, terminal, and browser.

Example

When Muse books your travel, the booking happens inside its VM's browser, not on your phone.

Why it matters

It is where Muse lives and does the work: browsing, filling in forms, writing code, and creating files. Meta says the data and credentials for any service you connect are stored securely in the VM. Credentials you share go into secure storage, so Muse can use them without seeing them, and Muse has no visibility into your passwords or payment methods. Meta also says VM conversations and data are excluded from its ad systems.

Common confusion

The Secure VM is Meta's cloud computer for your Muse. It is not access to your own computer.
