Why this word exists

It is easy to picture each Bot as a laptop of its own. Official docs assign the computer to the account. A second Bot is not a second computer.

Between different people, isolation is strict. Inside your account, it is not. Files, browser logins, and many command-line credentials sit where every Bot on that account can reach them.

Where you will meet it

A template does not copy the sender’s computer onto yours. The new Bot joins the computer your account already has. Screens and separate chats are separate work surfaces, not separate vaults.

Connectors you install are account-wide for the same reason.

Examples

• You add a Bot for a client and leave another client’s files on the computer. Both Bots can see those files. Do not use two Bots as a lock.
• You sign a website into the account’s browser. Any Bot on the account can meet that signed-in session.
• You wanted a private machine for one Bot. That is not what the shared computer is. Read the longer security page before you store a secret there.
