AI model

Also called model.

An AI model is the trained system an application uses to make predictions or generate responses.

Example

Grok's chat app and a coding tool can both call a model. The model produces text or a tool request. The app decides whether that request may run.

Why it matters

The app around the model supplies the prompt, the tools, and the limits. Two apps can use related models and still behave differently because their instructions and permissions differ.

Common confusion

The model is not the whole product. Muse Spark is a model name. Muse is the agent product that uses a model.
