Why it matters

Meta announced Muse Spark 1.3 for Muse Code and Meta Model API on September 2, 2026. Meta's launch article names Muse Spark without specifying a version. The model interprets requests and chooses actions; the surrounding Muse product provides the computer, the tools, the permissions, and the memory.

Common confusion

Muse is the assistant. Muse Spark is the model family. They are not interchangeable.
