Computer takeover
Also called Take control, Take over.
Computer takeover is when a person takes manual control of Grok BotGrok Bot is xAI's product for named AI teammates that keep context and do tasks on a cloud computer shared by the bots on one account.'s Agent Computer to finish a step, then returns control to the Bot.
Example
A site asks the Bot to sign in. You take control, enter the password yourself, hand control back, and let the Bot continue the task you already gave it.
Why it matters
xAI's docs describe this for a password, passkey, two-factor code, CAPTCHA, payment, or a page that requires a human. You open Agent Computer, take control, complete that step, return control, and tell the Bot to continue. The docs say not to paste passwords or one-time codes into the chat.
Common confusion
Takeover is a manual step on the shared Agent Computer. It is not a second computer, and it does not mean the Bot should read the password from chat.
