CC (Google Labs)

Also called Google CC, CC from Google Labs.

CC is an experimental Google Labs agent for families and households. It has its own Google Account, and each member chooses what to share with it.

Example

A household shares a club schedule with its CC and asks it to prepare the calendar entries for everyone to check before they are added.

Why it matters

Google's post dated September 17, 2026 says a CC group can have up to six members, gets a shared “Your Day Ahead” brief, connects to Calendar and Tasks, and can fill in forms with permission. Google says CC will not act or share outside the group without permission, and that the group has a shared memory.

The post says it is available on web and mobile in the US for people 18 and older with a personal Google account, with a waitlist for new users. Experimental access changes, so check Google's pages first.

Common confusion

CC is a named Google product. Lowercase cc is also the email copy field. A shared group memory is not the same as every member's private inbox.
