Why this word exists

Three phrases get mixed together: add, import, and copy prompt. Only add, from a template preview, creates a Bot from someone else’s recipe.

Botski has not found a dedicated Import action in the Grok Bot docs that turns a pasted prompt into a Bot. If a screen says Import, check which product you are in before you trust it.

Where you will meet it

Copying a prompt on bot.ski puts text on your clipboard. Plan your bot does that. Pasting the text into a chat does not press the template’s add control, and it does not install anything.

Grok Build can import settings from another coding tool. That stays in the coding agent. Marketplace → Add for plugins installs a connector or a packaged skill. Neither one is a template from another person’s Bot.

Examples

• You open a template preview and use the add control. The Grok Bot app finishes a copy on your account. That is an add.
• You copy the plan prompt and paste it into a message. You still have zero new Bots.
• You choose New, then Create new Bot. That starts an empty teammate. It is not an import of a text file.
