Cursor

Also called Cursor editor.

Cursor is a coding agent for building software: you use it to understand a codebase, plan and build features, fix bugs, and review changes.

Example

You ask Cursor to fix a bug in a repository and to open a pull request. That session is Cursor. It does not by itself create a Grok Bot.

Why it matters

Cursor's own docs describe it that way, including working with the tools you already use. It is a different product from Grok, from Grok Bot, and from Grok Build.

xAI's Grok Bot overview says Grok Bot is included with every paid individual Cursor plan and with the Cursor Teams plan, and that an individual SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, or SuperGrok Heavy subscription can also be linked. This page does not list prices. Plan details stay on those companies' own pages.

How it shows up on bot.ski

On bot.ski, Directory notes for the official Get started guide and the Grok Bot product home send plan questions to xAI and Cursor's pages. The Grok Bot glossary entry does not use this name. Nothing on bot.ski installs Cursor.

Common confusion

Cursor the product is not the blinking text cursor in an editor, and it is not Grok Build. Grok Build is xAI's coding agent. This page is the product named Cursor.
