One machine for every Bot you run
Use the computer and apps is blunt: every Bot on your account uses the same computer. Browser cookies and signed-in sessions are shared. Files are visible to every Bot. Command-line credentials are shared. One Bot can continue from work another Bot saved.
The computer is assigned to your user account, not to an individual Bot. Do not put a credential or file on it if another Bot on your account should not be able to use it.
The FAQ repeats the same rule. Do not use separate Bots as a security boundary.
Separate screens are not separate rooms
Each Bot gets its own screen on that shared computer. Several Bots can use browser and desktop tools at the same time. Official docs still call those screens separate work surfaces, not separate security boundaries.
That is why a login for one Bot is a login for the rest. Sign into a site for a research Bot, and the outbound Bot on the same account can reach that site too.
Between users, isolation is strict. The security FAQ says each user gets a dedicated computer. One user cannot reach another user’s machine. Within one user, every Bot shares that computer.
When a job needs its own logins
If a workload needs its own computer and credential set, the security FAQ says give it its own Cursor user.
Until then, treat anything placed on the computer as available to every Bot you run. Sign out of a service when it should no longer be available. Remove sensitive temporary files after the work is complete.
Deleting a Bot does not wipe the shared desk. The FAQ says deletion removes that Bot’s profile, conversation, and routines. Files and logins on the computer may remain.
