Voice typing (dictation)
Also called dictation, voice typing.
Voice typing turns what you say into text in the message box, for you to edit and send. The Bot replies in text.
Example
You dictate a long request, fix one misheard word in the box, and press send. The Bot answers in text.
Why it matters
CursorCursor is a coding agent for building software: you use it to understand a codebase, plan and build features, fix bugs, and review changes.'s help page describes voice typing as speaking a message that is typed into the message box. You can edit it before you send it, and the Bot replies in text.
How it shows up on bot.ski
bot.ski has no dictation feature. This page only explains the term.
Common confusion
Voice typing is not voice chatVoice chat is a live spoken conversation with one Bot. It talks back until you hang up.. Nothing is spoken back to you.
