How do I download and install Grok Bot?

Install on a Mac

1. Choose the Apple silicon or Intel download. About This Mac shows a Chip line for Apple silicon and a Processor line for Intel.
2. Open the disk image you downloaded.
3. Drag Grok Bot into Applications.
4. Open Grok Bot. If macOS asks you to confirm, choose Open.

Install on Linux

1. Get started says Linux builds publish with every stable release, under More downloads on the downloads page.
2. Choose x64 or Arm64. uname -m prints x86_64 for x64 and aarch64 for Arm64.
3. Use a deb package for Debian and Ubuntu, an rpm package for Fedora and RHEL, or an AppImage for other systems.
4. Install the package with your package manager, or make the AppImage executable and run it, then open Grok Bot from the app launcher.

After the app is open

1. Choose Sign in. If you are already in the app, get-started says to use Sign In with Cursor from Settings.
2. Finish sign-in in the browser window, then return to the app.
3. If your access comes from SuperGrok, link it when the app asks. On desktop the control is under Settings, then Usage and Billing. On iPhone and Android the access screen offers Link Grok Account.
4. Create a Bot with one job, or pick a suggested teammate, and hand it a small first task.

Grok Bot requires cloud data storage. Get started says accounts on Legacy Privacy Mode must move to a supported Cursor data setting before Grok Bot can start. You also need an eligible plan. On October 17, 2026, that was Premium, Super, or Ultra on The X Subscription. Plus and Free did not include it. This site will not invent an install link or an x.ai Marketplace template id.
