TL;DR
- Oct 16: Grok Bot can read X Chat, and its connector list grew to include Robinhood, Coinbase, Trello, PostHog, beehiiv and eToro.
- Oct 20: X Spaces and Lists arrived in Grok Bot, and Runway announced Runway MCP is now in Grok Bot.
- Oct 22: Grok Bot can use your 1Password account for sign-ins you approve.
- Oct 26: A user spotted Superwhisper listing Grok Bot as an agent for meetings. We have not seen Superwhisper confirm it.
All times are Central Time.
X Chat, plus a longer connector list (Oct 16)
On the afternoon of October 16, the official Grok Bot account posted a run of updates. Two of them were about what your Bot can reach.
The post links to @pjvann's earlier announcement, which says people had been asking for Grok Bot to access their X Chat messages and message requests "to help manage busy inboxes," and that it was "now live." The same post says @pjvann had a Bot "reviewing new message requests all week." The setup in the official post is short: connect X, then ask your Bot to work across your messages.
The next post in the thread was about connectors:
The post names six services and says "and more," so the full list isn't in it. It also says teams can now submit connectors to the Grok Bot marketplace. The post's link points to the submission page. For how that process works, see Submit a plugin to X AI.
X Spaces and Lists (Oct 20)
Four days later @pjvann posted that Spaces and Lists had launched in Grok Bot.
The post gives two examples: ask your Bot to find a Space to listen to, or to manage your Lists. It does not say whether a Bot can join or host a Space, so treat those as unconfirmed.
Runway MCP (Oct 20)
The same day, Runway posted that its MCP server is available in Grok Bot, with the line "create anything you can imagine, without leaving Grok."
The post does not describe pricing, limits or which Runway models are included. Check Runway's own pages before you rely on it. The official changelog separately says that, as of v0.75.2, Bots can create videos from a description or from an image you share.
1Password (Oct 22)
The biggest access change of the week was sign-ins. Grok Bot announced it can use your 1Password account.
Two details matter. You choose which logins to share, and the rollout was "over the next few days," so it may not have reached every account yet. The same day, 1Password announced its 1Password for Agents platform and listed Grok Bot among the companies it is building with. The visible text of that post does not describe what Grok Bot's integration does, so we rely on the Grok Bot post for that.
This sits alongside a separate feature. The changelog for v0.75.5 (Oct 23) says Bots can save logins, cards and contact info to a Vault in Settings and fill them in to sign in or check out. If you are deciding where credentials should live, read Connectors before passwords first.
Superwhisper (Oct 26, unconfirmed)
On Monday morning @tibor_tee posted a sighting.
This comes from a user, not from Superwhisper or Grok Bot. If you use Superwhisper, check its settings yourself under Agents.
One more to watch
On October 24, @_avichawla posted that developers had open-sourced "HarnessRouter," which they say lets Grok Bot run tasks through Codex, Hermes, Claude Code and DeepSeek. We could not verify the project or its source, so we are not treating it as a Grok Bot feature.
