Overview
Autopilot, previously Scout, is a tenant-scoped Copilot agent described in Microsoft’s September 25 announcement. It is a private-preview product, not established broad availability.
Microsoft describes ongoing cloud work, organizational context, recurring responsibilities and colleagues interacting with the agent. Usage-based billing is stated, but no numeric Autopilot price is verified here.
Start with your organization’s preview eligibility and approved setup. Ask who controls access, how actions are audited and which usage costs apply. Confirm that each required capability belongs to Autopilot itself rather than a neighboring Copilot experience.
Evidence boundary
This guide has no independent hands-on result for Autopilot. The source is useful for preview scope; it is not a reliability test or a promise of access.
