Thursday Arena is the playable artifact that came out of Grok Bot Galaxy (15–17 September 2026): SpaceXAI / Grok Bot staff (public build stream starring Matt Palmer, Lauren Tan, and Roshan Sadanani) set out to build in public with Grok Bot and shipped this free browser auto-battler instead of a paper company.

Its shop roster is tied to real Grok Bot marketplace templates — catalog entries reuse marketplace bot ids (for example dr eggbot _jOdbfkB16zxu7MRcmReE by Lauren Tan / @poteto) with authors and avatars from the public catalog API.

What makes it unique

1. Galaxy provenance — built live during the official Grok Bot Galaxy event, not a random indie clone of an auto-battler. 2. Marketplace as game pieces — units are named after / keyed to public Grok Bot marketplace templates (authors, handles, kits), so playing teaches the marketplace cast by feel. 3. Play without a Grok Bot install — guests practice vs AI; Sign in with X for rated ghost matches and the season leaderboard. 4.
