Stack tools & build scenarios

Secondary tools Grok Bot builders often need — hosting, DNS, data, analytics, email, payments — plus scenario cards for common builds. Ballpark costs only; always check the vendor.

bot.ski is a third-party handbook and directory. We do not open Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, Stripe, or other accounts for you. Live AI chat on this site is off. Opening pages here does not install a Grok Bot.

What “Stack” means here

Directory → Stack is the shelf for tools builders often add around a Grok Bot: hosting, DNS/edge, databases, analytics, email, payments, auth, media, observability.

It is not the same as:

  • Tools — competitor directories / registries
  • Hall / Shared templates — reviewed Grok Bot births (Hall stays empty until real claim records exist)
  • Connectors — first-party plugins inside Grok Bot (Connectors Learn)

Stack rows use the same honesty writeup rules as the rest of Directory. Week 1: evidence and writeups first — Stack rows are not Featured by default.

What “Scenarios” means

/scenarios is a hub of build cards (brochure site, blog, SaaS MVP, ecommerce, light game, social MVP). Each card sketches a goal, Stack checklist, ballpark startup and monthly USD bands, human setup hours, suggested Bot roles (not live bots on bot.ski), risks, and links into Directory Stack items.

MVP: pick a scenario → see the checklist → mark what you already have → remaining cost band updates on the page. No account required. Plan can deep-link here under “What are you building?”

Cost honesty

Dollar figures on scenario cards and Stack rows are dated ballpark ranges, not invoices. Always open the vendor’s pricing page before you buy. Usage can spike (bandwidth, AI calls, email volume).

Human gates stay human: paying, cutting over DNS, legal copy, permanent bans, production payments without approval.

Example Stack shelves (v1)

  1. Compute / host — e.g. Vercel, Netlify, DigitalOcean, Railway, Fly, Cloudflare Pages/Workers
  2. DNS / edge / security — e.g. Cloudflare
  3. Data — e.g. Neon, Supabase, PlanetScale
  4. Analytics — e.g. GA4, Plausible, PostHog
  5. Auth — e.g. Clerk, Auth.js
  6. Email / messaging — e.g. Resend, Postmark, Twilio
  7. Payments — e.g. Stripe
  8. Media / CDN — e.g. Cloudflare R2, Cloudinary
  9. Observability — e.g. Sentry
  10. Bot-adjacent — Grok Bot connectors (full list is in-app; see Connectors)

First writeup wave on the Stack shelf: Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, Vercel, Neon, GA4, Stripe, Resend, Sentry.

How this fits Grok Bot

Use Grok Bot for research, drafts, checklists, and repeatable ops behind your approvals. Prefer connectors when they exist. Remember bots on one account share one cloud computer. Put anti-jobs in the Bot description for send, pay, and delete.

bot.ski will not auto-provision vendor accounts and will not invent an official installer link.
