What is Share as Template, and what is Marketplace?
Share as template is how someone else starts from your Bot. Official docs say to open the Share menu, choose Create template, then copy a public link or a team-only link. Enterprise accounts default to team-only. The recipient previews the template on x.ai and needs the Grok Bot app to add a copy. They get the shared configuration: identity, description, skills, and routines. They do not get your computer, logins, or conversation history. Strip secrets before you share. Adding someone else’s bot accepts third-party bot terms. Marketplace is a different place: the sidebar, for connectors and packaged skills. bot.ski does not invent template ids, and it is not that marketplace.

A recipe, not a clone
Duplicating a Bot inside your own account is also different. A duplicate copies profile, settings, enabled skills, routines, and avatar. It does not copy conversation history, learned memory, or chat attachments. Rename it and set the new scope before you give it work.
