How to stop a bot task
Stopping does not undo finished work. Prefer Recover over Reset. Prefer waiting overnight over delete/recreate. The full path is When your Grok Bot gets stuck.
Short path
- Send Stop now in the chat.
- Check Agent Computer for login, CAPTCHA, or an approval card.
- Fully quit and reopen the Grok Bot app if the screen is stuck.
- Pause the routine if this was a schedule.
- If the computer is unreachable: Retry → Update → Recover → Reset last.
